In Clash of Clans, league medals are a highly rare and desirable currency that can be spent in the league shop for gold, elixir, potions, hammers, and other items like statues. To earn league medals, you must participate in Clan League Wars.
How to Get League Medals
Clan League Wars is a series of wars where eight clans compete against each other to get high percentages and the most stars. The event lasts for eight days, including one preparation day and seven days of attacks. You need a clan with at least 15 players to participate in this event, and your clan must sign up and register during the two-day registration period.
The Clan Wars icon in the bottom left-hand corner will light up gold when the event is going on. Your clan leader sets up the Clan War, and they choose whether to bring you with them or not. The event only occurs once per season, so make sure to keep an eye on the events tab for notifications.

Importance of Performance in Clan League Wars
In Clan League Wars, you only get one attack per war, so your performance is crucial to earning the most league medals. The amount of league medals you earn depends on a few factors:
- Your clan’s league: Based on your clan’s overall trophy count and performance, you will be placed in a league (bronze, silver, gold, crystal, titan, or champion). Each league has a minimum and maximum reward payout for league medals.
- Your clan’s placement within the league wars: At the end of the event, your clan’s total star count determines its placement. Higher star counts result in higher placements, which in turn, affect the number of league medals you earn.
- Your individual performance: By participating in league wars, you’ll get 20% of the star reward that your clan earns at the end. Each additional star you earn in attacks gives you 10% more, up to a maximum of 100% if you earn eight stars.
- Bonus: At the end of the Clan League Wars, your clan leader and co-leader can distribute bonuses to players who performed well. This bonus can make a significant difference in your overall performance and progress in your base.
